The project follows on from previous projects aimed at organizing an annual scientific conference for Ph.D. students and young researchers at the Faculty of Management of the VŠE FMISCICOM. Presentation at the conference is an integral part of the requirements for Ph.D. students (from 2021 twice during their studies) and replaces the milestones in Ph.D. studies that are common in Anglo-Saxon universities (defending the progress of a research dissertation project in the department or within a research group).
The aim of the conference, and therefore the project, is:
To support PhD students in their dissertation research projects and to provide feedback on these projects.
To encourage the formation of research teams and professional links between different groups of academic staff (internal and external) and PhD students.
To contribute to the communication of faculty doctoral research towards external stakeholders, representatives of faculty partners from other research institutions (domestic and international).
To support junior doctoral students in their presentation and communication skills when presenting the results of their own creative activities at other events (foreign conferences, research stays, etc.).
