Spravedlnost ve financování zdravotní péče

The project will deal with the distribution of financial contributions for health care in the population in selected countries. Equity in health care financing is one of the important goals of health policy. From the egalitarian perspective heath care should be financed according to ability to pay. Equity can be examined through metrics of the progressivity of financial contributions to the system, which analyze how payments are distributed among different socio-economic groups of the population. The progressivity of individual contributions to the system will be measured and an international comparison will be made. Subsequently, the effectiveness of individual countries in achieving equity in health care financing will be compared.
